Residents in Carolina Forest are posting videos online showing young females stealing Trump Campaign signs from their yards in the neighborhood.

Out of respect for the privacy of those neighbors, we did not post those videos.

However, in the video above, Florida police say they know why.

It is called the Tik Tok Challenge.

Officer Zach Hudson with the Lake Mary, FL Police Department said the challenge is encouraging people to steal President Donald Trump campaign signs.

He said no matter whose name is on those signs, if you steal them you are breaking the law.

“You could spend six months in jail,” he said. “Just because Tik Tok is suggesting that you do this it’s not a good idea. It is a crime to take someone else’s property.”
