Columbia, S.C. (June 22, 2026) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct a temporary lane closure on US 501 in Horry County beginning Tuesday, June 23.
The closure will allow crews to repair a drainage structure at the intersection of US 501 at Mill Pond Road in Conway. The outside northbound lane closure on US 501 will be closed on the north side of Mill Pond Road during the following dates and times:
US 501 at Mill Pond
June 23 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
June 24 from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
As drivers approach the work zone, they will notice SCDOT traffic signs directing them through the area.
SCDOT asks drivers to slow down, stay alert, and pay attention to crews and signs in the area of US 501 at Mill Pond Road.
