It was initially called the Bolling Army Air Forces Band and stationed at Bolling Field in Washington D.C. - Name change:With the establishment of the US Air Force in 1947, the band officially became known as “The United States Air Force Band”.ย
- Musical focus:The band aims to represent the excellence of the Air Force through world-class musical performances, bridging cultural differences with music.ย
