The City of North Myrtle Beach and the City of Myrtle Beach are two entirely different cities.

Many tourists become confused as the City of Myrtle Beach runs from 27th Avenue South to 82nd Avenue North.

After 1st Avenue South, the street numbers begin at 1st Avenue North and run increasingly North inside the City of Myrtle Beach.

29th Avenue North in the City of Myrtle Beach, is in the City of Myrtle Beach.

There is also a 29th Avenue North in the City of NMB. NMB’s street numbers run from south all the way to 60th Avenue North in North Myrtle Beach.

The numbers run south and north in both cities. This is confusing for so many tourists.
