A Myrtle Beach police officer’s cruiser was stolen while investigating a crash scene at Ed’s Hobby Shop on Saturday morning. The officer was following up on an incident that occurred the previous day.

Ed’s Hobby Shop is located where Highway 501 and Broadway Street connect as you enter downtown Myrtle Beach.

The officer stated in his incident report that while inside the Ed’s Hobby Shop, his cruiser was stolen.

The vehicle was later located in the parking lot off Highway 501 and Canal Street.

Police arrested 48-year-old Lee Livingston for stealing the cruiser.

He is charged with grand larceny of $10,000 or more and driving under suspension. Lee is currently being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
