Especially in off periods for a website that operates on Eastern Standard time, these visitors appear to spike.
As we publish this article it is currently 2:42 p.m. in Lanzhou China. In Myrtle Beach, the time is 1:42 a.m. And yet, from just this one province in China, we currently have 12 visitors on our website.
Until late January, we observed no traffic originating from China. We also had our tech team check. This traffic is coming from real people and not bots.
