HERLONG CAMPAIGNS FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL IN MYRTLE BEACH AREA
Can one man make a difference? William Herlong thinks so. He campaigned for S.C. Attorney General today, saying, “Send me to Columbia. I’m going to clean house.”
MyrtleBeachSC.com viewers and readers are aware of the state-wide corruption probe currently underway. Candidate Herlong promised a Murrells Inlet audience that he would clean up the state if voters sent him to Columbia.
Winning Horry County and Georgetown County are critical to candidates in the coming June 12th primary. Herlong faces off against current S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson who has been mired in the probe for over the past 2 years, recusing himself from prosecuting former allies.
Herlong spoke of how his father removed rocks from the family farm to make way for a harvest. He asked the audience, “Do you think one man can make a difference?”
Herlong is determined to be that one man.
