After being arrested on Thursday, a Myrtle Beach police officer, Christopher Turner, found himself on the wrong side of the law.
According to jail records, Christopher Turner is charged with second-degree domestic violence.
According to MBPD spokesperson Randolph Angotti, the agency is aware that Turner was arrested by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
According to Angotti, Turner is now on leave without pay pending the outcome of his case.
According to records from the South Carolina Justice Academy, Turner has been with the department since 2014.
Currently, he is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
