The Fairfield Inn & Suites Coastal Carolina Conway, 98-room hotel in Conway, South Carolina, is now open according to Strand Hospitality, a leading regional hotel management company. Dargan Construction Company, based in Myrtle Beach, S.C., built the hotel, which was developed by Southern Ventures.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Coastal Carolina Conway enjoys a fantastic location, convenient to many businesses and directly across the street from Coastal Carolina University and Horry Georgetown Technical College,” said Jay Keller, COO, Strand Hospitality. In order to meet today’s changing needs and demands of today’s business and leisure travelers, the Marriott-branded hotel was designed to be the first select-service hotel in the area.

A new décor package honors the brand’s origins at the Fairfield Farm, located at 2061 E Highway 501. A farmhouse table is featured in the lobby, artwork from the Fairfield Farm is displayed in the lobby and guest rooms, natural materials and unique textures are used throughout, and every property features a history wall detailing the brand’s history.

“We are confident that the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand will be a boon to Conway, providing both jobs and additional revenue to the community,” stated Strand Hospitality’s president, John Pharr. This project has been a pleasure to work with the City of Conway staff, council members and Mayor Bellamy.

The new guestroom design is impactful and unique, providing a seamless experience tailored to the needs of Fairfield guests. Its carefully thought-out features include a modern lounge chair that can be used both productively and for relaxation, as well as an ergonomic workstation, comfortable couch, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The artwork takes center stage with the window treatment featuring photography taken at the Fairfield Farm creating a warm atmosphere – thanks to its sheer material which allows light through.

“Strand Hospitality has a sterling reputation as a leading hotel operator, and I am delighted to launch a new brand in this thriving market,” said Melissa Zimmerman, general manager, Fairfield Inn & Suites Coastal Carolina Conway. As part of our commitment to serving the Conway community, we look forward to providing excellent customer service to our guests.”

A complimentary Wi-Fi connection, outdoor pool, fitness center, valet laundry service, and meeting facilities with audiovisual equipment are also available at the hotel. In addition to oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, and other healthy items, including fruit, yogurt, and whole grain cereals and breads, guests can also enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast.
