Update: Monday Dec. 20th
The body of Vladamir Norman was found early this morning. Georgetown County deputies said the body was found within the inshore waters of Murrells Inlet near the Pompano Drive area.
Georgetown County Coroner Chase Ridgeway identified the body.
This past weekend, U.S. Coast Guard Charleston Command Center Southeast and partner agencies were searching for Vladamir Norman, 29, who was reported overdue in his kayak Sunday morning in Murrells Inlet.
Late Sunday, December 19th, a good Samaritan located Mr. Norman’s kayak Sunday near Vandy’s Point.
Vladamir Norman was last seen alive kayaking in the Murrells Inlet area.
Crews and partner agencies continued the active search at first light this morning.
