Tesla CEO Elon Musk completed his purchase of Twitter yesterday. What does this mean for Horry County?

The $44 billion takeover made national headlines. Musk’s intentions are to make Twitter a privately held organization.

CLEANING HOUSE

At the time of purchase, Musk fired CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, general counsel Sean Edgett, and Vijaya Gadde, a top Twitter legal and policy executive [all liberals] two people familiar with the deal said Thursday night. “They escorted the three people out of the office” the source said.

Gadde is best known for removing former President Donald Trump from the Twitter platform, while allowing Russian Leader Vladimir Putin, Jihadists, and global terrorists to continue their tweets.

The operation will likely move its headquarters from San Francisco to Texas. Musk’s signature car company, Tesla is headquartered in Texas.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR HORRY COUNTY – GOOGLE SEARCH

Until today, anyone doing a GOOGLE search for the search term Myrtle Beach was automatically provided Twitter feeds from liberal voices, mainstream local media channels, and government related propaganda tweets.

We checked this morning. Google has dropped those feeds for now. Whether Google will allow such tweets moving forward is unknown.

MUSK’S MOTIVES

The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence,” Musk wrote.

THE BIG THREE

Will the big three still work together

Tech Giants Google, Facebook, and Twitter have historically been the three lead operatives in Social Media.

News groups, including Fox News, claim the three giants collectively have a liberal bias.

Will the three tech giants continue to operate in tandem? It appears not.

Only time will tell if the Twitter promise of reform is realized. Musk has a lot of work to do if he hopes to change the Twitter corporate liberal culture.
