Starting June 1, 2023, Allegiant Airlines will offer a nonstop flight from the Akron-Canton Airport to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Allegiant airlines announced the new route in a press release on Monday. For a limited time, flyers can get a one-way ticket for $39.
Lisa Dalpiaz, vice president of marketing and air service development for Akron-Canton, said flights are scheduled until Sept. 5. The route will operate on Thursdays and Sundays.
Allegiant offers nonstop service to Savannah/Hilton Head, St. Pete/Clearwater, Sarasota/Bradenton, Ft. Myers/Punta Gorda, Orlando/Sanford, Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, Nashville and now Myrtle Beach.
Tourists can book the new flight on allegiant.com. To get the $39 price, flights must be purchased by Tuesday for travel before Aug. 13.
