NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The large Dog Park at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex will be closed on Monday, May 20 from 6 AM to approximately 12 PM. The Grounds Maintenance Team will be grading and preparing to lay new sod.

This process will entail relocating the dirt that has washed and eroded off the hill for preparation. The excess dirt will be used inside the Dog Park. Once this is completed, the large Dog Park will reopen. While this will reopen, there will be a portion that will remain barricaded. This portion is for the new sod. The actual sodding date is contingent on weather and sod availability.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while we strive to improve and maintain the large Dog Park for our canine guests and their owners.
