MyrtleBeachSC News posted this picture on Facebook of a Fishing Boat that lost its way during Hurricane Ian.
According to long time Myrtle Beach resident Mike Hobieka, “Belongs to Holden beach seafood , at Holden beach. It was left on anchor and crew removed yesterday in little river. Boat was bought last year out of Charleston. It’s a fiberglass Desco boat very well built.“
The boat has a legendary past.
The Boat washed ashore in front of the Mystic Sea near Damon’s Grill and is fully beached.
Hurricane Ian’s storm surge will go on record as the 3rd highest in Myrtle Beach history.
