Broadway at the Beach
Broadway at the Beach is the biggest shopping center in Myrtle Beach, with over 200 shops and restaurants. It’s also a great place to get souvenirs! The area is home to an 18-story Ferris wheel, as well as several other attractions that you can ride on:
- SkyWheel offers rides in enclosed gondolas, while Wonder Wheel is an outdoor Ferris wheel.

Myrtle Beach Skywheel
The SkyWheel is a Ferris wheel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is one of the tallest observation wheels on the east coast and boasts 36 gondolas that can hold 6 people each. The ride offers views of beautiful Myrtle Beach as well as some of the most breathtaking sunsets off of its viewing platform at the top.
Murrells Inlet
Murrells Inlet is located on the South Carolina coast, about halfway between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. It’s known for its boardwalk, restaurants, and shops. There are also plenty of things to do in Murrells Inlet that aren’t related to shopping or dining—like visiting the aquarium, going fishing at the pier, or relaxing on a beach.
Myrtle Beach Speedway
- Myrtle Beach Speedway is a 1/4 mile dirt track in South Carolina. It was opened in 1960 and has been the home to NASCAR legends like Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Bobby Labonte, and Kyle Larson. The track is located on U.S. Highway 17 just outside of downtown Myrtle Beach.
- The speedway hosts NASCAR, USAC, and ASA races throughout the year—most notably during their two annual events: “The World’s Largest Racecar Show” (January) and “Spring Break Nationals” (March).
Brookgreen Gardens
Brookgreen Gardens is a public garden and sculpture park located on the shore of the Intracoastal Waterway in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. It was founded by Archer Milton Huntington and his wife Anna Hyatt Huntington as a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting art, education and conservation. The gardens opened to the public in 1932 after 20 years of planning and construction. Considered one of the most important sculpture gardens in the United States, it is home to over 500 sculptures that span from ancient civilizations through modern times including works from Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, and Pablo Picasso.
