Last night, at the Horry County Congressional Debate, sponsored by American Conservative Voices, U.S. 7th Congressional District Candidate Ken Richardson called out Russell Fry.

The debate forum was scheduled in January for a Tuesday night. Fry’s campaign team asked that the debate be moved to a Monday night as he serves as a District 106 State Representative, which would require him to be in Columbia, S.C. on Tuesday.

The debate night was moved for Fry, as requested.

Said Richardson, “This group normally meets on Tuesday night. They normally meet at a different location. I was contacted in January, as were most of those in this room. We had to tailor this thing around Russell Fry.” Fry then called last minute and cancelled. Richardson stated from the podium, the cancellation was caused by a last minute fund raiser Fry attended.

It’s time we started talking about facts,” said Richardson. “Russell Fry facts,” added Richardson. “I like to call him “no show” Fry because this is the 6th time he was supposed to come to an event, and he has yet to show up. How in the devil can he represent you when he won’t even show up for a debate with us?”

U.S. Congressman Tom Rice was not invited to the debate forum as he has been censured by the Republican party since voting to impeach former President Donald Trump.

Richardson stated, “There is nothing wrong in saying I support President Trump, but I do not support his endorsement.” Speaking of Fry, Richardson said he was hiding like Biden.

Richardson said the Trump endorsement muzzled Russell Fry. He said, “I am going to ask Russell Fry some questions, and, if he will answer them truthfully, he will lose the Trump endorsement.”

FAKE POLLS

Richardson told those in attendance, “I want to talk to you about lying, just a bit. Did everybody in this room see the poll done just about 3 weeks ago that showed Russell Fry at 58% and Tom Rice at 22%?”

“30 point lead, never in the history of politics have I seen anybody lose a 30 point lead,” said Richardson. “So let me go to this email he sent out the other day. Fellow Conservatives, writes Fry, When I announced my campaign to oust Trump Impeacher Tom Rice, I struck a hornet’s nest. Washington based special interest groups and people saw our rising poll numbers, panicked and flooded my opponent with millions of dollars to rescue his campaign. Now my opponent is sitting on a whopping $1.7 million. I hate to admit it, but I won’t have the resources to remain in my very narrow lead, writes Fry, if you don’t send me more money.”

Says Richardson, “He did a poll. In the poll he was 30 points up. Ten days later he sends out a message [email] that he’s got a very narrow lead.”

Richardson then asks, “Did he lie in number one – the poll? or did he lie in number two – with his very narrow lead [email]?”
