After our news article of yesterday, this morning Conway Mayor Barbara Jo Blain-Bellamy amended her campaign ethics filings for the 5th time.

On this filing, the mayor exonerates Duplicates Ink owner John Cassidy by removing his name. She now shows Cassidy has made NO contributions in her newly initial amended filing.

Cassidy has consistently held that he never gave the Conway Mayor campaign money. Her latest amendment proves he was telling the truth.

Barbara Jo Blain-Bellamy Conway Mayor’s November 2nd Amendment – no contributions

Conway lawyer Ralph Wilson is still listed as contributing two thousand dollars in total. Bellamy lists him as giving one thousand twice, once in July, once again in October. If so, Wilson broke the law. It is illegal for him to personally give more than $1,000 to a candidate during any one election cycle.

Conway Mayor Barbara Blain-Bellamy manages a Conway City 2023 annual budget of $79 million, yet can’t seem to get a simple Campaign Ethics filing report correct in as many as 5 amendments.

Our news team is informed that the ethics committee looking into these filings will want to compare Mayor Bellamy’s check book register to the filings amended as seen below here.

We shall see how this turns out for Barbara Jo Blain-Bellamy.

Blain-Bellamy Amendment

The Conway City election is this coming Tuesday. As of today, 860 people have voted early.

This is the highest early voter turn out in Conway City history.
