The sun rose over Myrtle Beach in a spectacular display this morning, promising warmth and joy to all who called this coastal gem home. As the day unfolded, temperatures soared to an unprecedented 74 degrees. It is officially spring in Myrtle Beach.

Beaches are already dotted with colorful umbrellas as sun-seekers reveled in the golden rays. Meanwhile, cafes and ice cream shops along Highway 17 and Ocean Boulevard buzzed with the warmth of Spring’s arrival.

Spring in Myrtle Beach sees Brookgreen Gardens in bloom

Families strolled along the marsh walk in Murrells Inlet, children’s laughter mixed with the sounds of seagull calls overhead. The scent of saltwater mingled harmoniously with blooming flowers, creating a sensory symphony that encapsulated the magic of springtime in Myrtle Beach.

Our news team spotted a dad and daughter. Her five year old shouts of excitement blended seamlessly with the crashing surf. Golf courses beckoned enthusiasts to test their skills under the warm sun, promising unforgettable moments against a backdrop of lush green fairways and swaying palms.

Spring In Myrtle Beach has arrived

The warm breeze carried laughter and joy as residents and tourists alike soaked up the sun on Myrtle Beach’s golden shores.

“It feels like a taste of summer in the air, making every moment here even more special,” says Sarah McCallister, visiting the Myrtle Beach State Park pier from out of state.

Local shop owner, Patti Hilton, shared her excitement, “These days are a blessing for our businesses after a slow winter. The energy is contagious!”

One family built a sandcastle in Garden City Beach, with renewed enthusiasm while beachgoers took long walks along the coastline, embracing the unexpected warmth.

I couldn’t believe my luck stumbling upon such perfect weather during my vacation,” exclaimed Josh Johnson, who we caught capturing stunning sunset photos in Cherry Grove.

The Spring weather in Myrtle Beach, can quickly turn to summer like weather on the change of a note. It can even experience a cold snap or two.

Today was the best of days as it showcased Spring in Myrtle Beach.
