One person suffered minor injuries during a house fire Wednesday morning in the Myrtle Beach area of Socastee, S.C.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded at 5:19 a.m. to Grousewood Drive in Socastee for a reported residential structure fire.
Socastee is a community just Southwest of the City of Myrtle Beach and just west of Surfside Beach traveling Highway 544.
The fire is now under control and will be under investigation.
The injured person was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures and later released. No one died as a result of this house fire.
