On resurrection Sunday, Tourists pour into Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach life have become an idyllic escape for many locals and tourists alike.

Many of those tourists, visiting this weekend, are looking for a pleasant escape from all that troubles us about America today.

Young starter parents are struggling with these two pressing questions in 2024. What is the meaning of life? What are the signs that prove something is truly alive?

Researchers have identified three definitive signs of life that all living organisms exhibit. These signs serve as fundamental markers to distinguish living entities from inanimate objects.

  1. Growth: Living organisms have the remarkable ability to grow and develop over time. From a tiny seed sprouting into a towering tree to a single cell evolving into a complex organism, growth is an essential characteristic of all living things. However, as we are confronted with so many technology platforms that deny us the opportunity to consider ideas outside of the common narrative, how do we grow? One question asked this Easter Sunday: Did Christ really rise from the dead? Is it true? How can we ponder such a thought if we refuse to make it a part of the public conversation? How can people grow, if only one approved narrative is allowed?
  2. Taking in New Things: Another key feature of life is its capacity to intake and assimilate nutrients, energy, and information from the environment. Whether it’s plants absorbing sunlight for photosynthesis or animals consuming food for sustenance, the process of taking in new substances is vital for the survival and function of living beings. A diet balanced with variety is considered best. Yet, in our public discourse, “variety of thought” is now frowned upon.
  3. Waste Elimination: Additionally, the efficient removal of waste products is a crucial aspect of living systems. By eliminating metabolic byproducts and other waste materials, organisms maintain internal equilibrium and prevent the buildup of harmful substances that could impede their functions. What if some of what we were told, or have come to believe doesn’t work? Do we have the right to discard such?

Resurrection Sunday

Did Christ overcome death? Is it okay to consider this idea? If not, why not?

Thousands of people who never attend a church service will attend one today. However, beyond religion, does the person of Christ offer life to those who have put their hopes in things that haven’t worked?

Should Christ be an everyday part of everyone’s life experience? Or should he be locked up in a church from 10 a.m. to noon each Sunday? John 10:10 records that Christ actually said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that you may have life, and have it in all of its fullness.

What if God really did create humans? Is that worth considering? Man is an awesome Creator. Everything we create has a specific purpose. Some clear examples of automobiles we created include:

  • Sports cars are made to be fast and fun. That is the sports car’s purpose.
  • SUVs are created for families, taking kids to school, soccer game activities, and all other needs for bringing the whole family along.
  • Trucks are made for hauling things.
  • 18 wheelers are made for hauling commercial goods, grocery products, retail goods, and more.
  • Mail Trucks are made for delivering mail.

The list of what we create with unique purposes is endless.

However, the purpose of each creation has no meaning outside of us, its creator.

Is that worth thinking about? Could you have been designed for a unique and eternal purpose?

Could you enjoy a better quality of life and meaning if you discovered your unique design and purpose?

If we are not allowed to discuss these things, we are left without the liberty we need to discover what is and isn’t true.

Happy Resurrection Sunday from MyrtleBeachSC News.
