The Myrtle Beach International Airport has announced the addition of a new airline, Breeze Airways.
Known for providing affordable flights between underserved routes, the carrier will begin offering flights next year, the airport announced Wednesday.
The airline will launch twice-weekly flights to Providence, Rhode Island, beginning in February. Additional flights to Tampa, Florida, and Charleston, West Virginia, will begin on May 10.
There will be flights to Tampa Bay and Charleston on Monday and Friday, and to Providence on Thursday and Sunday.
Judi Olmstead, director of airports at Myrtle Beach International, expressed her excitement at the announcement that Breeze Airways will be launching from MYR with nonstop flights to popular destinations such as Tampa, Providence, and Charleston. She stated that the airport constantly seeks new ways to meet customer demands and is grateful for Breeze’s decision to invest in our community.
