South Carolina lottery officials announced Thursday that a Carolina Forest man won $300,000 from a lottery ticket while he was on his way home from the bank.
As he was out going to the bank for his wife, he stopped by the Scotchman at 4101 Postal Way in Myrtle Beach.
“It must have taken me ten minutes to read the ticket,” the $300000 lottery winner said. “I thought I read it wrong.”
After cashing it in Columbia, the man said he still wasn’t convinced it was real. He said he would deposit the check for retirement.
As a result of selling the $300000 lottery winner, the Scotchman in the Myrtle Beach area received a $3,000 commission.
