Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce candidates were knocking on doors, running ads on T.V. and attending events this past weekend.
As we approach mid-May and soon early voting, these candidates are fully funded and working hard. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber knows that the local agenda is fully controlled by the candidates in office.
VIDEO: WHY VOTING FOR CHAMBER BOTS IS DANGEROUS
These candidates are often called SPOTAS, as in, where I spota be? What I spota do? Unfortunately, as exampled by the I-73 failure this month, even when elected, these SPOTAS can’t get the job done.
Oddly, the candidates pictured above are campaigning against the very agenda they fully intend to legislate once in office.
Are primary voters wise enough to weed through the misdirection? We will soon find out on June 14th.
RESIDENT FOCUSED CANDIDATES
Resident focused candidates do not have the funding, nor high profile campaigns as the chamber crowd (pictured top).
Will the voters continue a 30+ year trend of voting against their own best interests. Time will tell.
