In a nationally televised game, seen on ESPN last night, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers beat #21 ranked Louisiana Rajin Cajuns 30 to 27. The game was won by a last second field goal.

Louisiana beat #23 Iowa State earlier on September 12th. This was the Rajin Gajuns’s first loss of the year.

Coastal Carolina remains undefeated.

After Coastal’s win, ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt stated, “Rank em.”

The Chants are likely to be ranked in the top 25 of next week’s college football poll.

Go Chants.

As a graduate of Coastal, I am often asked what a Chanticleer is? This week I am answering, “A top 25 college football team.”
