Every Christmas in Horry County, the following words have been read at Christmas functions for the past 261 years.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
It is unlikely that these words will continue being read to a large church audience starting this Christmas 2023 moving forward.

THE CHURCH HAS CHANGED
America’s church in 2023 is a geriatric ward of ever decreasing numbers of locals who attend. 68% declines in church attendance are common across America.
Americans stopped making disciples of Christ, who made disciples of Christ, who then made more disciples of Christ beginning in the 1940s. Christians lost the country, the culture, and became a stereotype. Most recently, the American Church has joined the popular culture.
Pope Francis has formally approved allowing priests to bless same-sex couples, with a new document explaining a radical change in Vatican policy by insisting that people seeking God’s love and mercy shouldn’t be subject to “an exhaustive moral analysis” to receive it.
America’s second-largest Protestant denomination is in the final stages of a slow-motion rupture that has so far seen the departure of one-quarter of the nation’s roughly 30,000 United Methodist churches, according to the denomination’s news agency.
At issue for Methodists is the question of ordaining and marrying LGBTQ people, a topic that has splintered many other Protestant denominations and which Methodists have been debating for years. We covered this article just this past Fall with issues surrounding Belin United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet.
Once in demise, Christians will always be targeted. It’s a historical cycle.
US Government Censors Christians and Conservatives through the Federally Funded Global Disinformation Index

The Global Disinformation Index (GDI) is a Federally funded non-profit organization that aims to disrupt, expose, and ultimately dismantle the infrastructure that enables what globalists call conservative disinformation. It was founded in 2017 by Clare Melford and Daniel Rogers with a the support of American bureaucracies, the World Economic Forum, and the U.S. Democratic Party.
The GDI focuses on assessing the risk levels of websites based on their involvement in what the left calls disinformation and misinformation activities. They provide a comprehensive methodology to evaluate conservative websites and assign them risk scores, which helps brands, advertisers, and ad tech platforms make informed decisions about where they allocate their advertising budgets and avoid unintentionally funding disinformation.
Additionally, the GDI works towards transparency and accountability by exposing the networks behind disinformation websites and providing research reports that shed light on the tactics and techniques used to spread false information. They collaborate with technology companies, governments, NGOs, and researchers to develop practical solutions in the fight against disinformation.
Among the most highly trusted websites the organization endorses are: The NY Times, NPR, CNN, and government sponsored propaganda sites.
Conservative websites with low GDI scores are simply not allowed access to viewers through most social media platforms, nor Google. X is an exception, providing equal access to Christians, Jews and Conservatives.
THE FUTURE – Can’t vote your way out of this
18 to 24 year old voters polled this week by NBC cited a number of policy areas that disappointed them, including insufficient moves to address climate change and Biden’s inability to fully cancel student loan debt or codify Roe v. Wade, as the president deals with a closely divided Congress. However, Biden’s response to the Israel-Hamas war may be having the greatest effect on his relationship with this voter bloc. They largely support the Hamas/Palestine efforts.
These voters have different priorities than their great grandparents. They neither know, nor understand the concept of a “Supernatural God”.
These are our next generation of un-discipled Christian Americans, raised by the U.S. School system.

The end goal is to create one global planet of all equal citizens. Western Civilization will be no different that any other nation states, all living under the same left leaning culture of right and wrong. Each of these world citizens will live at the same standard of living, with the exception of the Bill Gates types, Global Corporatists, the elected class, and state bureaucrats. These exceptions will live at a much higher standard of income. They already do.

Ideas about right and wrong are now government centered and unequally applied. The innate dwelling of a Holy Spirit directed conscious about right and wrong no longer exists.
What is acceptable for the privileged is punishable to those who oppose this immorality and these government inequities.
WHEN LAWLESSNESS ABOUNDS AND GOVERNMENTS FAIL, WHAT NEXT?
The good news is that false hope in government will end. In fact, these governments, including our own, will fail. Such will be the beginnings of sorrow for many.
Some will find the true meaning of hope in this process, however.
Jesus Christ said, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” He also said, “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity].
While Christians and conservatives will see great persecution and shame, their inner authority will abound as they abandon themselves to Christ and his Holy Spirit. He will be their Lord, their savior, and their authority.
DELIBERATE CALAMITY AND CHAOS
The current chaos at our border, the lawfare against conservatives, Christians and Jews is planned chaos.
The lawlessness and chaos in our large cities that include defunding police and allowing repeat offenders to walk the streets is also planned chaos. Smash and grabs are just the most recent attacks on retail business owners.
Christ said he will set captives free of these evil systems.
Freedom will only come, however, when Americans abandon their belief that the system will reform itself or be forced to reform itself.
Christmas was our gift 2,000 years ago to endure such a time as this.
AMERICA HAS CROSSED THE RUBICON
The America we knew is no more.
The Christ we can know is eternal.
The Lord has “been our DWELLING PLACE in all generations, for we have made the LORD, our Refuge, the Most High, our Dwelling Place.” (Ps 90:1-note, Ps 91:9-note)
Indeed our Jesus is for us a “Sanctuary” wherever we go, providing “times of refreshing which come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)
While our institutions continue to slip into lawlessness and chaos, none of the words just above have changed.
