Gaskins initial post was shared 290 times in just over one day. Gaskins clearly has strong support across Horry County.

WHY SUCH STRONG SUPPORT?

Gaskins is a life long Horry County girl. She is the daughter of Renee Elvis, Horry County Clerk of Court.

Locals know where she was raised. Locals know how she was raised. Locals know her values.

Gaskins taught in Horry County for 13 years, building strong relationships with a generation of children, parents and the admiration of fellow teachers.

GASKINS’ WIDELY SHARED FACEBOOK LAUNCH READS:

My name is Jennifer Gaskins. I am seeking to be elected to serve on the HC School Board as the District 11 representative.

I am a product of Horry County Schools. (Go Braves!!) I am a former (very recent) HCS educator, spending 13 years teaching in HCS. And, I’m a mama of 4 little boys who are HCS students. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Masters Degree in Learning and Teaching with emphasis in Literacy.

Education, especially education in Horry County, is something that is very personal and near and dear to my heart.

I look forward to sharing more information about me, as well as my ideas around education! I also look forward to connecting with many of you!
