As the filing deadlines have now approached, Myrtle Beach City Councilman John Krajc has officially declared that he/him intends to run for re-election.
Krajc is a favorite of Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Bethune. She has previously provided financial support for Krajc. She also currently supports newcomer Debbie Conner for Myrtle Beach City Council.
It is no secret among residents that Krajc enjoys cross dressing, especially during Holiday festivities. Such is now considered normative behavior in America.
The Myrtle Beach Mayor also champions Transgendering minor children.
THE BACKDROP FOR THE NEW NORMAL IN MYRTLE BEACH
The reason we highlight the above is the city’s recent statement condemning Ground Zero, a Christian based ministry located in downtown Myrtle Beach.
A current push by some of the most ardent supporters of Bethune and Krajc is to have the city revoke the lease with Ground Zero and use the building for non Christian related purposes.
THE CHRISTIAN COUNTER CULTURE IN AMERICA
It is no secret that true Christians are the counter culture in today’s America. Unfortunately, most churches inside the city limits of Myrtle Beach are comfortable operating within the culture.
As we have pointed out, church members are no longer making disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples.
Open daily worship of God is not publicly celebrated by individuals, but rather reserved for special events lacking the power, faith and recognition of the majesty of an omnipotent creator and King.
While the weaponization of local government is celebrated in 2023, the power and might of God is not known nor even recognized, especially among church attendants.
MEETING MONDAY NIGHT
Dr. Janice Christy of Myrtle beach Middle School has canceled all Ground Zero assemblies for this 2023/2024 school year because of the “supposed” non inclusive hate speech found in biblical principles upheld by the Christian group. Ground Zero, however, has espoused these principles since its inception in the early 2000’s. Why the sudden change of heart by the school?
On Monday night at 6 p.m. at a Horry County School Board meeting, members of the ACLU, along with the John Krajc and City of Myrtle Beach supporters, will be demanding that God, prayer, and all Christ centered institutions be removed from any associations with Horry County Schools.
We intend to cover this meeting and will keep our readers informed.
As to what is right, what is wrong, and what is normal, 2023 appears to have few answers for any of those questions.
