A man and woman have been arrested and charged following a shooting near the 900 block of Chester Street around 1:50 a.m. Friday.

Johnathan Verbos was arrested and charged with unlawful carry of a pistol, murder, and unlawful neglect of a child, and possession of cocaine.

A man who was shot Friday morning has also died in the Grand Strand General hospital, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

Adrian Villarreal, 36, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, was identified as the man by the coroner.

Police in Myrtle Beach arrested and charged Brittany Wolfe, 32, with unlawful neglect of a child and possession of cocaine.

Johnathan Verbos was also charged with unlawful possession of cocaine, unlawful neglect of a child, murder, and unlawful carrying of a pistol.

This has the appearance of a drug deal gone wrong in a high crime neighborhood.

City Focused on more pressing issues including Christ centered hate principles

While the city of Myrtle Beach continues to experience shootings along Carver Street and on the south end of Myrtle Beach, city leaders are more focused on cultural concerns. Those concerns include the non inclusive Christian centered principles of the group Ground Zero, located in the high crime downtown district of redeveloping Myrtle Beach.

Residents of the city clearly support the priorities of Myrtle Beach City Council as incumbents win 90% of the elections they choose to run in.
