Franchise officials with the popular chain announced that the new Market Common Publix will open its doors for business on November 30, 2022.
The Lakeland, Florida company operates several chains along the Grand Strand. Previously, Myrtle Beach customers living in Market Common, were required to drive to 82nd Ave. North in Myrtle Beach if they wished to shop inside the city limits.
Publix grocers also operate in Carolina Forest and Murrells Inlet.
The new store opens up shopping opportunities for residents who live in Deerfield Plantation and along the Highway 544 corridor as well.
The franchise is known for its southern fried chicken, as well as, an assortment of desert items whose quality exceeds that of competing chains.
