City of Myrtle Beach will hold pride festival at Market Common September 30th.
The contrasts between the city of Myrtle Beach and Horry County at large could not be any clearer.
Saturday, September 30th, from 11am until 7pm, the City of Myrtle Beach will celebrate what the town calls love, diversity, and inclusion at the Market Common Myrtle Beach Pride Festival.
The event will include a kids zone: Bring the whole family along, as we have something special for everyone! The Kids Zone will feature exciting inflatables, corn hole games, and a Hula Hoop Contest. Let the little ones enjoy a day filled with laughter and play.
And an amateur Drag Contest: Calling all aspiring drag performers! Show off your skills and compete in our Amateur Drag Contest. Step into the spotlight and let your creativity shine. Prizes and recognition await for winners during the Pride Festival!

As the City of Myrtle Beach and its associates in Myrtle Beach Pride Festival community work to define who God is and work to redefine what Horry County should be, and, as traditional churches continue to die, is God really who he says he is?
FAITH IN WHAT WE WORSHIP MATTERS
History will reveal which of these two teams has placed its faith wisely.
Will the City of Myrtle Beach gay community win out in culturally changing Horry County Schools, the school agenda, and the county at large?
Or will the county residents have enough faith to openly lift up and publicly worship the God that they say they believe in? Will county residents let this God rule their lives?
Is God worthy of praise and worship? Does he exist?
The next 35 days will impact the future of Horry County and, perhaps, the entire nation.
