Tabor City Man Murdered In Myrtle Beach

A Tabor City man has died and another was injured in an overnight shooting at Cook Out on 18th Ave North in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The coroner has identified the victim as Albert “AJ” Soles, Jr., 24, from Tabor City.

Officers were called to the scene just before 1 am after reports of shots fired, according to Corporal Thomas Vest.

Soles and another injured victim were transported to Grand Strand Hospital.

Police say the victim was murdered. They are treating this investigation as a homicide. They also report that the shooter is in custody.
