Greg Duckworth is the incumbent in District 104.  District 104 encompasses the North Myrtle Beach area.  Rep. Duckworth has voted in lock step with the MYRTLE Beach Chamber of Commerce, however.

His logic has been that the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber is strong on tourism.

If tourism is the key to our economy, however, you would think our beaches and our environment would matter most.  To the contrary, Representative Duckworth has a life-long failing grade as it relates to our local environment.  This year he failed miserably, getting a score of only 31%.

His life-long record with CSVC.org is only 66%.

Representative Duckworth Fails on the environment

When Myrtle Beach City leaders dumped 100,000 gallons of sewage into the ocean last month, shutting down all Horry County beaches, Duckworth said nothing.

As “quality of life” issues matter most to District 104 residents, our beaches and our environment are paramount.
