At 3:32 p.m. on November 9th, Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a vehicle in a pond in the area of 5050 Highway 17 Bypass in Myrtle Beach. One person was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital with injuries.
Utilities were damaged.
The car was submerged in a retention pond at South Strand Medical just west of Market Common in Myrtle Beach.
