An email sent to hotel owners provides further information about the potential timeline for reopening the temporarily closed Kingfisher Inn, (Garden City hotel), as well as the steps necessary to reach that goal.

Owners of the Kingfisher Inn were informed that the hotel will need “intrusive repairs” which will require it to remain closed until the fall 2024, following the initial project timeline.

Kingfisher Inn initially announced that the hotel would not be open until April 11.

This follows a discussion that took place on Tuesday between the engineer from the Kingfisher Inn and the leaders of Horry County.

Currently, the owners of condominiums at the Kingfisher Inn are experiencing frustration and seeking alternative vacation options.
