On Monday, a ceremony was held to officially open the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort. This brand-new resort, with 152 villas, is situated directly opposite the company’s existing South Beach Resort on South Ocean Boulevard.

Located on the stunning shores of Myrtle Beach, this purpose-built resort – the first in a multi-phase development – promises to be a luxurious retreat for travelers seeking the ultimate beachfront experience,” Holiday Inn Club Vacations said in a press release.

The resort offers easy access to the beach as well as an activity lawn, a multi-level pool, fitness center, a grab & go market with indoor and outdoor dining, and a poolside bar. Additionally, there are indoor and outdoor activity centers on the premises.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday was attended by executives from the company and Mayor Brenda Bethune of Myrtle Beach.

The opening of Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort is a significant milestone for our city and its tourism industry,” Bethune said in a statement. “This resort represents not only a new destination for travelers seeking luxury accommodations and unparalleled amenities, but also a vital addition to our tourism landscape.
