On Monday, December 18, contractors for the private development off North Myrtle Point Blvd will begin installing traffic control signs in preparation of crossing Old Hwy 17 with an underground sewer line (underground gravity sewer line).

Work is anticipated to begin at 7 PM tonight, December 18. Please be advised that the traveling public may experience delays, lane closures, and detours as the work progresses across Old Hwy 17 between Sea Mountain Hwy and North Myrtle Point Blvd.

The City of North Myrtle Beach encourages the traveling public to avoid the area if at all possible.
