The City Of North Myrtle Beach continues to lead the Grand Strand. The city was ranked number 7 by Alarms.org as one of the safest cities in the state of South Carolina.
The report included more than 7,600 cities across the state and reviewed the most recent FBI crime report statistics.
Charleston took the number one spot as the safest city in the state.
Residents of the town give a tremendous amount of credit to Mayor Marilyn Hatley. Hatley is considered one of the best mayors in the state of South Carolina.
