The owner of Good Day Café posted Sunday, December 26th, that he was involved in a hit-and-run in front of Kohl’s. He has a broken hand and the car is totaled, according to the post.

This after the restaurant posted that it fed more than 200 people Christmas Day and raised hundreds of dollars for charity.

The Good Day Cafe moved from the City of Myrtle Beach earlier this year to Surfside Beach.

The restaurant has been highly successful since the move.

Locals and tourists alike rave about the food and the atmosphere provided. The new Surfside Beach location is also more aligned with the family type clientele the restaurant attracts.
