A North Myrtle Beach/Little River area resident photographed and posted a report of U.S. Marshalls and Horry County Police arresting a sex trafficking ring located in the greater North Myrtle Beach area.

Writes this resident:

This is beyond any parents worst nightmare!

I was sitting on my rear patio with my boyfriend and my young daughters when 2 US Marshall’s came, mission ready, around back. Of course we were absolutely shocked, my girls are little terrified to see the vests and weapons…I mean we live in a brand-new, rather nice retirement community.

HCPD, State, US Marshall’s, ICE…not exactly what we’d imagine here.

Well, I was concerned, as we are neighbors, so I periodically checked. It looked like there was something immigration related taking place. I was genuinely sad…they were pleasant, quiet, but friendly neighbors (3 women and 1 man).

We watched as each woman was thoroughly searched, hair undone, jewelry removed, placed in cuffs, then shackled and placed in a silver van. As things died down, the US Marshall that was first around back and also car posted up sideways in my yard and drive way came over to speak to us. He was very friendly and I thank God he stopped to talk…no one else did. He must be a daddy and saw me with my girls when he came around back.

I asked if there were something going on with immigration and he said “no…actually, they have been running a really massive sex trafficking ring!” My heart immediately dropped! I hopped up so fast and stuck my hand out to shake his…I said, “oh dear God! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Job well done! How scary!”

He responded, “thank you, it’s just what we do!

I immediately then thought only the 3 women in the home were taken into custody. I told the Marshall that there is most definitely a man that lives there as well…he and his buddy’s faces immediately lit up and also had a look of defeat/“oh shit!

He asked me for a description and about cars etc. I gave him the absolute best I could, but a lot! He said he was next.

It absolutely rocks my brain to think that my immediate reaction, feeling, and emotion towards the situation was that “I genuinely felt bad for them. They were nice people!” Little did I ever realize the Real Life MONSTERS making tons of money of the sex sales of young girls!

My daughters play outside. Yes, I’m usually always out with them, but there are times my oldest likes to ride her skateboard down our street/out of my sight…we got her a phone to let us know when she got on the bus in the morning, as I work far from home…she waited alone…and this was taking place and in full business a few doors down!

My message to you all is, you can never be safe enough! It could only take one second and a child disappear, sex trafficking is everywhere….don’t think it can’t be right next door to you…I did, too! Be safe and cautious!

This will surely be on the North Myrtle Beach/Horry County/ news! *update: a rather young girl was found ALIVE in the trunk of SUV’s. Everything is being thoroughly searched and the eldest lady (mid 50’s is in custody) but her husband (? Possibly) was not here at the time of the operation…maybe trying to get him to come back.
