Ken Richardson is running for the 7th U.S. Congressional District seat.
Richardson spoke to several hundred people tonight at Radd Dew’s Bar-B-Que located on Horry Road. The packed house backed up past polls that show Ken Richardson is the front runner opposite of Trump Impeacher Tom Rice.
Richardson stated that he did not expect to garner votes among Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce insiders. This statement was met by rounding applause. He also stated he opposed I-73 because the voters in his district opposed I-73.
Richardson said, in fact, he was tired of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce picking our politicians. Once again, Horry County residents were in full agreement showing resounding applause.
Richardson was clearly born to lead. His leadership skills ran front and center tonight.
Tonight’s high attendance is a clear indication, Richardson has tremendous support west of the Intra-Coastal Waterway.
While the primaries are many months away, Richardson’s performance tonight explains why he is the leading contender to unseat Tom Rice this coming June.
