15 year old, Ethan, started learning to surf five years ago with Jack Hannigan at Jack’s Surf Lessons, Springmaid Beach.

Ethan lives in Nashville, makes practicing, but he still visits Springmaid Beach and Cherry Grove piers a few times each year.

Ethan is the kind of surfer that especially loves storms.

We’ve seen sharks in the water before, but never captured video of one; they’re fast!

Watch as the shark leaps overhead, just as Ethan pulls his feet onto the board.
