Myrtle Beach, SC (November 7, 2023)— ZIPS Car Wash (www.zipscarwash.com) is proud to support local veterans and active military as we honor their dedication and service this week on Veterans Day. ZIPS will offer a FREE Premier car wash to all United States veterans and active military personnel this Saturday, November 11. Honorees can visit any participating ZIPS location and enter wash code 1123 to redeem the offer on Saturday at its nine Myrtle Beach locations or any of the 280 participating locations across the country.
ZIPS Car Wash showed its local support of veterans this week with a donation to Veterans Welcome Home Resource Center near Myrtle Beach, SC, a 501c organization that works to end veteran homelessness by assisting local honorably discharged veterans with job placement, filing claims with the Veterans Administration, and to temporarily shelter those veterans who are homeless until permanent housing can be secured.
“VWHRC is deeply indebted to wonderful organizations like ZIPS Car Wash for their contributions to our mission — which is helping veterans in need,” said Chuck Wimer, Director- Hutton House, a service of Veterans Welcome Home Resource Center.
“Donations currently help fund veterans who are homeless, require financial assistance due to hardship and provide food available through our food pantry. It truly is an honor to work with ZIPS Car Wash as we unite to address the needs of my
fellow veterans,” he added.
ZIPS has focused its charitable efforts on those who have served our country by offering free washes for veterans and active military for over 10 years on Veterans Day. Over the last 2 years, ZIPS has donated $20,000 to local and national veterans service organizations. Within the last week, ZIPS has donated a total of $3,000 to veteran focused organizations across the country, including the local donation Veterans Welcome Home Resource Center.
