North Myrtle Beach Removes Face-mask Mandate For Restaurants
FROM THE CITY OF NORTH MYRTLE BEACH
The City has received calls from some North Myrtle Beach restaurant owners and managers asking for guidance on the City’s face-coverings ordinance as it applies to restaurants.
The SC Governor’s Executive Order 2021-12 (March 5) Modifying & Amending Emergency Measures in part moves what were once COVID-19 protocol requirements for restaurants to the category of guidelines.
As a result, the portion of the City’s face-coverings ordinance that pertains specifically to restaurants also moves from a requirement to a guideline. The remainder of the City’s face-coverings ordinance remains in effect.
While we encourage restaurants to continue to implement the Governor’s and the City’s COVID-19 guidelines, the decision to do so is up to each restaurant.
