Trey Skidmore Wins North Myrtle Beach Council Seat

The city of North Myrtle Beach released the results of its runoff on Tuesday for city council, electing Trey Skidmore.

Trey Skidmore beat out Tidewater resident Ronnie Nichols for the at-large seat on the North Myrtle Beach City Council.

Skidmore had strong support from Mayor Marilyn Hatley and, especially, Councilwoman Nikki Fontana.

Skidmore received 1,158 votes while 799 voters casted their ballots for Nichols.

Skidmore will take the oath of office during the April 5 City Council meeting.

Trey Skidmore’s term runs until Nov. 2021.
