In the audio below, Derrick-Lawren can be heard saying, “you know who’s causing this [gurbled] conflict? That bitch in Georgetown in a black robe. She’s been doing this shit for years.”

HOLMES CHECKERED PAST RULINGS
MyrtleBeachSC News can confirm that we have covered multiple, suspicious rulings by Family Court Judge Bromell Holmes over the past few years. Here is just one of these rulings. And here is one more. Perhaps the most suspicious can be found HERE. This ruling was associated with the campaign actions of Horry SC Senator Luke Rankin.
With the retirement of S.C. Judge Alison Lee, MyrtleBeachSC News has learned that Holmes is seeking a higher, appellate court nomination backed by the praises and support of Senator Rankin and the JMSC.
The State Newspaper reported on May 18th: Longtime South Carolina Judge Alison Lee, whose mostly quiet career on the bench included a few controversial moments, retired Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Judicial Merit Selection Commission (JMSC) confirmed.
Lee, a circuit judge since 1999, was a state administrative law judge from 1994 to 1999. She was one of 16 at-large judges, meaning she was not assigned to any particular one of the state’s 16 judicial circuits.
